ATA Chapters Used Most Frequently

The ATA Chapter Numbering System is the foundation of modern aircraft maintenance documentation. By assigning every aircraft system a standardized chapter number, it enables engineers, technicians, CAMO personnel, lessors, operators, MROs, and manufacturers to communicate efficiently and locate technical information quickly.

Regardless of whether an engineer is working on an Airbus A320, Boeing 737, ATR 72, or Embraer E-Jet, ATA chapter numbers provide a universal reference system that improves maintenance efficiency, reduces errors, and supports regulatory compliance throughout the aircraft's operational life.
